I wouldn't panic about this without seeing more details about the case. Current deepfake/genAI technologies have several flaws that would make it practically impossible for the scammers to pose as the CFO on live video without being spotted.
However, the threat of deepfake scams is rising and you should know how to protect yourself. Interestingly, the basic habits of cybersecurity go a long way toward protecting you against such scams.
